I write, draw, breath, sweat, change diapers, cook, make a living and maintain this blog in my free time. It is a place for musings, humor and art on that phase of life. It was created out of my own midlife crisis [or a “Spiritual Awakening” if your prefer ] when I turned 39 and had a baby at the same time. There is nothing like a major life event to shine a spot light on your paltry existence. To cope, I turned to drawing, writing, painting, and power naps as a way to digest the existential angst and also carve out a sliver of “me time” before I fell into bed exhausted at night (only to wake up again two hours later to a crying infant). This website is about that time. It’s also about things that fascinate, annoy, delight or inspire me and what has transpired since then.
